Building on the success of the FUSE event held in 2014, 2016 and 2019, FUSE 2021 is a two-day summit organised both online and in-person across all states and territories.

The event will focus on building the leadership, advocacy and community organising skills of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. The event provides an important platform to amplify the voices of young people to key decision makers.

The themes of FUSE 2021 are Mental Health, Climate Change, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Rights and Racism.

Who can apply?

FUSE is open to any young multicultural person located in Australia (aged 18 – 25 years) who is looking for an opportunity to have their voices heard, develop their skills and abilities, and network with delegates and decision-makers.

How are young people supported?

Accommodation provided and travel costs covered
Lunch catered on both days. A social dinner will also be provided to connect with your peers!
Training and support throughout the summit from Youth Facilitators.
